RSPA 2007 Regular Season Standings
RSPA Banquet - now two nights!
The RSPA 2007 Banquet and Awards Dance is now scheduled for
TWO DIFFERENT NIGHTS ;
Saturday, October 20 and Saturday, October 27;
The season ending banquet with open bar, all you can eat buffet; lots of door prizes at the same great location!
Westwood Banquet Hall; 90 Woodbine Downs, Upstairs (see map below)

Banquet is now on TWO DIFFERENT NIGHTS
Saturday, October 20 and Saturday, October 27;
Rough guidelines are to have Comp division to Int-4 (or Int-5) on the later date - Saturday, October 27; and Rec to Int-6 (or Int-5) on Saturday, October 20;
however, we will be flexible if a team, or individuals, wish to switch dates;
players may even attend both dates; it's a great night out for $40;
We will either be giving out as a door prize, one monster 50" large screen plasma TV, or two 42" TV's;
BANQUET INFO
Door Prizes --- Doors Open at 6:00 pm ---
Dinner at 8:00 pm --- Dance: 9:30 - 1:00 am
Grand Prize Drawn at 12:00 Midnite; must be a player or a coach to win grand prize; must be there to claim it;
Awards for all Division Playoff Champions, must be there to claim them;
Tickets: $40.00 per person -- open bar, all you can drink; buffet, all you can eat;
Tickets may be picked up at the door;
All tickets must be pre-booked and confirmed;
each team must guarantee and pay for seven (7) tickets;

Deadline for ticket sales will be Friday, October 12 for the October 20th date, and Friday, October 19, for the October 27th date;
if you did not pick up the tickets at the league meeting, pick up the tickets at the door;
if you have not paid your $240 banquet deposit, mail the cheque immediately; $240 payable to RSPA;
the number of tickets that you confirm, are the nimber of tickets that you pay for;
Comp Division
Comp Playoffs: 5 teams; double knockout;
Round 1: 1st - Clippers (12-4) - bye;
G1 - 2nd - Game Over (12-4) defeats 5th - Lets Get Tight (4-12) - Thursday, August 9 at Max Ward Park;
G2 - 3rd - Down & Dirty (7-9) defeats 4th - Cardinals (6-10) - Thursday, August 9 at Smithfield Park, 8:00 pm;
Round 2: winner of 2nd-5th Game Over gets a round 2 bye;
G3 - 3rd-4th Cardinals eliminates loser of 2nd-5th Lets Get Tight from the Comp playoffs;
Lets Get Tight is eliminated;
G4 - 1st Clippers beats winner of 3rd-4th Down & Dirty - Friday, August 17, 8:00 & 9:30 pm at Wildwood Park #2;
Round 3: G5 - winner of G3 (Cardinals) vs Down & Dirty, loser of G4; -- 4th Cardinals eliminates 3rd Down & Dirty in two very close games; D&D are out;
at this point L3 (Lets Get Tight) and L5 (D&D) have been eliminated; only 3 teams remain (Clippers, Game Over and Cardinals); only one team is undefeated (Game Over);
Cardinals play Clippers Thursday, Aug 30; 6:30 pm at Mississauga Valley;
G6 - Game Over, winner of G1 vs Clippers, winner of G4; -- 2nd Game Over comes back to beat 1st Clippers;
-- Game Over has a bye;
4th Cardinals eliminates 1st Clippers, two games to one;
Round 4:
COMP FINALS: winner of G6 (Game Over) vs winner of G7 (Cardinals);
Comp Finals: 2nd Game Over beats 4th Cardinals to win the RSPA Championship!
Int-1/2 Division
Int-1/2 Playoffs: Int-1 and Int-2 will be combined for the playoffs; 9 teams;
First round: 9th Booty Pirates came back to beat 8th Hollywoods two games to one;
2nd Round (QF):
3rd S&M Flyers eliminates 6th Zep in two games straight;
4th Raging Storm eliminates 5th Misfits;
7th Attack trounced 2nd Sharks 24-0 to upset them two games to one;
1st RobArts Rage eliminates 9th Booty Pirates in a close third game 8-7;
Round 3 Semi-Finals:
4th Raging Storm beats 1st RobArts Rage two games to one;
3rd S&M Flyers eliminates 7th Attack in three close games;
Round 4 FINALS:
4th Raging Storm beats 3rd S&M Flyers in two very close games to win the Int-1/2 division title!
Int-3 Division
Int-3 Playoffs: 7 teams;
First round (QF): 1st Screwballz gets first round bye;
2nd Lob Squad eliminates 7th Mayhem in two games straight;
3rd Chix & Dix eliminates 6th TPS Warriors;
4th Not All There defeated 5th Scared Hitless two games to one;
2nd round - Semi-Finals:
4th Not All There takes the third game to eliminate 1st Screwballz;
2nd Lob Squad eliminates 3rd Chix & Dix, two games to one;
3rd round - FINALS: ;
4th Not All There takes a close second game to eliminate 2nd Lob Squad and win the Int-3 Division!
Int-4 Division
Int-4 Playoffs: 7 teams;
First round: 1st Outkasts gets first round bye;
2nd Team Fielding eliminates 7th Rude Natives;
3rd Hall of Shamers eliminates 6th Ramrods two games to one;
4th NetServe eliminates 5th GE Capitals;
Round 2 - Semi-Finals: 1st Outkasts eliminates 4th NetServe in two games;
-- 2nd Team Fielding eliminates 3rd Hall of Shamers in two games;
Round 3 - FINALS:
2nd Team Fielding eliminates 1st Outkasts to win the Int-4 Championship!
Int-5 Division
Int-5 Playoffs: 12 teams;
Round 1: 1st to 4th get a first round bye; -- 1st Tsubaki; 2nd Sauga Bombers, 3rd Balls Deep & 4th Bambinos;
6th Edge takes the first game from 11th Bayside Tigers; and eliminates Bayside by default;
8th Perfect Strangers eliminates 9th Loaded Bases in two games straight;
10th Press Gang Pirates eliminates 7th Average Joes, two games to one;
12th Winners Edge eliminates 5th Ballers, two games to one;
Round 2 - QF:
8th Perfect Strangers upsets 1st Tsubaki, two games straight;
3rd Balls Deep eliminates 6th Edge, two games to one;
12th Winners Edge eliminates 4th Bambinos, two games to one;

Round 3 Finals:
3rd Pirates beats 1st Sprouts two games to one to win the Int-7 Division Title!

Round 1 Semi-Finals:
4th Lakeshore Sluggers eliminates 1st Liftow, two games to one;

Round 2 - FINALS:
2nd Lakeport Pilseners eliminates 4th Lakeshore Sluggers to win the Int-7W division title!;
Int-8 Division

Round 1 Semi-Finals:
1st Adamson eliminates 4th North Stars;
2nd Skidmarks eliminates 3rd Wakewoods Sluggers in two games straight;

Rec Playoffs: Rec division playoffs to be split up into four divisions - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night divisions;

1st Master Batters eliminates 4th Crooked Cue, two games to one;
2nd Spartans eliminates 3rd Campus in a close game 3;
Round 2 - FINALS:
2nd Spartans eliminates 1st Master Batters to win the Rec-Mon division title!
