RSPA offers several social activities.
Including: poker night, euchre night, volleyball night, All-Star night and free barbecue, Banquet and Awards Dance, etc.

RSPA Volleyball Night Friday, July 14, 2017

  • RSPA Volleyball Night
  • The RSPA Volleyball Night tentatively scheduled for Friday, July 14, 2017
    at Diamond Beach Sports Complex in Etobicoke. — Diamond Beach map
  • This event is not mandatory and any participation is optional.
    However, if you ask anybody who has attended, they will tell you what a fun night it is!
  • Teams will be formed from existing slo-pitch league teams, and pick-up teams will be entered.
  • Players, guests and friends are welcome. Prize for winning team.
  • Looking for prizes, volunteers, ideas, etc. Give us your input. Another fun night out!

  RSPA All-Star Night Friday, August 11, 2017

  • The RSPA All-Star Night & Barbecue is Friday, August 11, 2017 at Wildwood Park. - map
  • All-Star Night will include a FREE BARBECUE, home run hitting contest (male & female),
    base running (male & female), pitching contest, individual and team throwing contests, games, etc.
  • This event is optional for all teams, but if you ask anybody who has attended, they will tell you what a fun night it is! (there are no RSPA scheduled games on that night).
  • Also, this event is subsidized by league fees, so come out and get your money's worth!
  • We use this event to raise funds for the Heart & Stroke Foundation in the name of Chris Allen.
  • We are looking for prizes, volunteers, ideas, etc.
  • The RSPA All-Star Night is a result of a lot of work and cannot be succesful without the help we get from the amazing crew of volunteers! Why don't you step up and help?

RSPA 2017 Banquet and Awards Dance


The RSPA awards banquet and dances are tentatively scheduled for 3 separate Saturday nights,
Tentatively Saturday, October 28 — Saturday, November 4 — Saturday, November 11, 2017.
Saturday, October 28 will be a Halloween themed banquet.

  • Teams may request to switch dates if they prefer, but date switches must be approved.
    Teams or individual players may attend more than one date if tickets are available.
  • LOCATION: Lions Banquet Hall, 45 Avondale Blvd, Brampton, ON L6T 1H1
    south side, just west of Bramalea Road, just north of Steeles Ave (just north of the airport) map
  • Tickets are $50 per person and include open bar (all you can drink) and all-you-can-eat buffet.
  • All teams are required to purchase a minimum of four (4) tickets (4 x $50 = $200.00).
    Banquet deposit usually minimum 6 tickets per team, but again for 2017 will be 4 tickets per team.
    This is a separate payment and is due August 1, 2017.
  • Banquet tickets are non-transferable (this is one of the ways that helps to keep our costs down).
  • Any team that has not paid the banquet deposit, will not be eligible to participate in the League playoffs.
  • Tickets are no longer handed out as we use emailed pdf tickets. Tickets are for info only (dates, location, map, etc.) and are not required to gain entry. Tickets are available (while tickets last) and should be sold throughout the season.
  • Friends, spouses, partners, etc are welcome.
  • We will check with your team for a confirmed quantity, one week before the banquet date.
  • Whatever number of tickets that you confirm for, your team must pay for.
  • Team are also required to donate a door prize (all teams have somebody that can get a door prize) valued $25.00-30.00.
A great party to end the season with great food, drinks, dancing and door prizes!
With THREE (3) main door prizes, large screen HD TV's!
We handed out three 55" HD TV's, 3 bar fridges and 3 Kuerigs and tons of other prizes!

Door Prizes --- Doors Open at 6:30 pm --- Dinner at 8:00 pm --- Dance: 9:30 - 1:00 am
Grand Prize Draw; must be a player or a coach to win grand prize; must be there to claim it.
Awards for all Division Playoff Champions, must be there to claim them.

The best banquet in town & best party of the year!!!
