RSPA Parks - Ground Rules

Home Run Rule:
Applies to any home run hit over a fence or out of the designated play area
(parking lot at Port Credit Park; street at Mimico Park; river at West Deane-2; etc.)
Any home run in excess of limit (match plus two) is an out.
Port Credit Park - South:
Home run rule west fence.
All light posts, live and in play, cannot make an out on a ball caught on the bounce off the lightpost.
Port Credit Park - North:
Home run rule parking lot - ball in the air.
Ground rule double on ball rolling or bouncing into the parking lot.
Tree on left field line - dead ball.
All light posts, live and in play, cannot make an out on a ball caught on the bounce off the lightpost.
Raymore Park - South:
Tree on right field line - dead ball.
All outfield trees, live and in play.
Mimico Park:
Trees in right field:
any ball hitting the trees in right field - ground rule double.
any ball on the ground to the street - dead ball, ground rule triple.
any ball to the street in the air.- home run (out of play)
Home run rule is in effect.balls hit out of play (on the street)
Mimico Park - trees in centre field, ball is live and in play
umpires discretion, which trees are right field and which are centre field.
any ball hit into the playground equipment in left field - ground rule triple.
Mississauga Valley:
No ground rules at this time.
Home run rule in effect - fenced park.
Syntex Park:
Home run rule in effect - fenced park.
Fleetwood Park:
Home run rule in effect - fenced park.
Smithfield Park:
No ground rules at this time.
Silverhill Park:
playground equipment in right field, ground rule double.
Backstop - be careful when scoring a run as the backstop is very tight.
West Deane Park:
No ground rules at this time.
City View Park:
No ground rules at this time.
All ground rules are subject to change
Additional ground rules may be applied as a result of temporary field conditions, weather, etc.
