RSPA All-Star Night - In Memorium
In Memorium - Chris Allen
In memorium - Chris Allen recently passed away on June 19, 2011 from a heart attack at the young age of 43.
He was a long time player and coach in RSPA.
To honour his memory, we will dedicate the RSPA All-Star Night to him, and change it to a fund-raiser for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. All events will require a donation to enter and all funds, plus a donation from the league, will be sent to H&S in his name. We will also have a 50-50 draw and will accept donations from non-participants.
If you knew Chris, you liked Chris, because everybody liked Chris.
I will steal this quote from one email that I received - "The one thing that gave him the most joy in this world was playing softball and anyone who every played with him knew that."

The weather was fantastic; and St. Louis Clippers won the first tournament of the year; Cardinals won the Rec division (what are they doing in Rec?) beating RobArts Rage in the Finals; RobArts Rage beat out Chix n Dix in the semi-finals to advance; All in all a good weekend for RSPA teams;
